A chicken back protector is also known as a saddle which consists of a piece of material that protects a chicken’s skin and feathers from damage whilst breeding.
All are handmade in Australia and are reversible, one side has upcycled denim whilst the reverse is a patterned fabric lined with interfacing material to keep its durability.
How to put on: place saddle on the chickens back and pull elastic across to one side, lift the wing and place elastic over. Do the same with the other wing and voila they are free to roam in comfort.
